Celebrating The SETI League's Tenth Year of Service

The SETI League's Fourth Annual Banquet is scheduled for 7 - 9:30 PM Saturday night, 7 August 2004. Banquet tickets are available only in advance. The Banquet, to be held in the Campus Center at The College of New Jersey, will include a distinguished Guest Speaker and door prizes.

The banquet will be preceeded from 6 to 7 PM by a SETI League Awards Reception, which will include the presentation of our two major awards. The Giordano Bruno Memorial Award, The SETI League's highest technical honor, is given annually to an individual who has made significant contributions to the art and science of SETI. The Orville N. Greene Service Award honors outstanding service to The SETI League. In addition, the editors of Contact In Context, our online, peer reviewed scholarly journal, will present our annual Best Ideas Awards. Please help us to salute this year's recipients.

Although all SETI League members in good standing are welcome to attend the Awards Reception, attendance at the Banquet is by reservation only. Banquet tickets may be ordered at $30 US per person, when pre-registering for the Conference by 30 June 2004. Dress code is conference casual. As banquet seating is limited, it is unlikely that additional banquet tickets will be available at the door.
