Publications DepartmentEfforts are underway to develop a SETI Library at our Little Ferry NJ headquarters. The library is scheduled for completion in early 1996. The SETI League, Inc. is currently acquiring books, articles and videotapes of both historical and technical interest, dealing with the various disciplines which SETI encompasses. Our first round of acquisitions includes those works listed on our Recommended Reading page.
Although books and periodicals will not circulate, the use of The SETI League library by members in good standing is encouraged. Initially, the library will be open by appointment only. To schedule library use, members may email info_at_setileague_dot_org, or phone headquarters at (201) 641-1770. Fulltime students wishing to avail themselves of this facility to further their research and studies are reminded that Scholarship Memberships are offered at half the Full Membership price. The SETI League is anxious to receive recommendations from the membership as to suitable works to acquire for our library. Appropriate book donations will be gratefully accepted. We are especially interested in acquiring any scholarly papers or scientific works generated by our members.
